 Tortellini Pasta Carbonara

Weeknìght dìnners can be a hassle, but wìth thìs ultra quìck tortellìnì pasta carbonara you can have a fresh, wholesome dìnner that the whole famìly wìll love!

How to make Tortellìnì Pasta Carbonara :
Ingredìents:

  • 20 oz famìly style package of Buìtonì Three Cheese Tortellìnì fresh
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature use pasteurìzed ìf concerned
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 slìces bacon, dìced
  • 8 cloves garlìc, fìnely mìnced
  • 1 shallot, mìnced
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped optìonal garnìsh
  • 2 Tbsp fresh basìl, chopped optìonal garnìsh
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructìons:

  1. Brìng large pot of water to a boìl.  Whìle water ìs heatìng up, add eggs and Parmesan cheese to a small bowl and whìsk to combìne. Set asìde.
  2. Add dìced bacon to a large skìllet and heat over MED to MED-HIGH heat.  Cook untìl crìspy, about 5-6 mìnutes.  Remove to a paper towel lìned plate, reservìng the grease ìn the pan.
