We love án eásy dïnner recïpe – especïálly when you cán máke ït ïn the slow cooker! These cheesy chïcken táquïtos áre á heálthïer homemáde versïon thán store bought or restáuránt máde (they’re báked, not frïed!) – ánd they’re perfect for lïttle hánds who refuse to eát ánythïng unless they cán dïp ït ïn somethïng!

INGREDIENTS:


2-3 boneless, skïnless chïcken breásts
1 (1 oz) pácket táco seásonïng
6 oz creám cheese
1/4 cup wáter
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddár cheese
12 (6 ïnch) flour tortïllás
1 Táblespoon butter, melted
Sálsá, for dïppïng

INSTRUCTIONS:



1. Pláce chïcken breásts ïn á slow cooker ánd cover wïth táco seásonïng. Add creám cheese ánd wáter.

2. Cook on hïgh for 4-6 hours on hïgh, 6-8 hours on low.

3. Preheát oven to 400 degrees.

4. Shred chïcken wïth two forks ïn your slow cooker, then ádd cheddár cheese. Stïr to combïne.

5. Pláce á smáll ámount of chïcken mïxture on eách tortïllá, then roll eách tortïllá up, plácïng them seám-sïde down on á bákïng sheet.

6. Brush eách táquïto wïth melted butter, then báke for 8-12 mïnutes untïl edges stárt to golden.

7. Serve wárm wïth sálsá for dïppïng.
